WHAT IS SMP?

An SMP worker at
the Pittsburgh Project
A Summer Missions Project (SMP) is a service project where we have the ability to put our faith into action helping others.  Everyone participates in daily Bible study, worship, prayer, and group chores.  Project work ranges from working on building to working with children to spread the word of Christ.  The work can be hard but the rewards are tremendous.  Accommodations are usually very basic, often with limited access to shower facilities.

SMP is open to anyone!  Different trips are oriented around age groups, purpose, and location.  VPC members and non-members are welcome on all trips.
