It is assumed that a couple wishing to be married at Vienna Presbyterian Church desires to have their union blessed by God. This is the reason for a church wedding.
In order to be married in either the Sanctuary or Chapel at VPC, the ceremony must be performed by an ordained pastor on the VPC staff. A VPC wedding coordinator must be present at the rehearsal and ceremony if 30 or more guests will be attending the wedding. Private wedding consultants may not participate in wedding activities in the Sanctuary or in the Chapel.
In addition, the couple must complete the VPC Marriage Preparation Program, which includes a set of four Preparation classes, a Communication Workshop, and a meeting with the officiating VPC pastor.
