The Rev. Dr. E. Stanley Ott
E. Stanley Ott joined the pastoral staff at VPC in October 2006 as a part-time teaching pastor. His focus is on the particular ministry of leadership development. He also conducts regular classes and training seminars designed to help our staff and lay leaders understand how to conduct effective ministry in the 21st century.
Stan and his wife, Ann Marie, came to us from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Stan served as senior pastor of Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church for many years. He developed the Vital Churches Institute, through which he trains pastors and church leaders all over the country.
Stan’s education includes degrees from Georgia Tech, Purdue University, and McCormick Theological Seminary. His Ph.D. is from Purdue. Ann Marie is a strategic planning consultant to businesses. They have three children. Stan’s publications include:
