Welcome to our newest staff members!
Deb Rymer is the new ESOL Manager.
Deb Rymer comes to us with a varied business and volunteer background. In her 20 years of experience in business Information Technology leadership for 3M and Corning, she has managed a wide variety of complex projects and organizations. Just two years after moving to Vienna from Cincinnati with her husband, Jon, and son, Thomson, she decided to become a stay-at-home-mom Ė a very challenging transition for a long-time career woman! This opened a world of opportunities to her that could not have been explored while holding a demanding full-time job in the business world. This includes her four years as a teacher in VPCís ESOL program. This experience gave her first-hand knowledge and insight into the program.
Deb is thrilled to begin this new adventure and looks forward to working with all the amazing volunteers in VPCís ESOL program to further the mission of demonstrating Godís love through such a valuable and treasured service.
Elaine Wright is the new ESOL Administrative Assistant.
Elaine Wright has always had a love for the ESOL ministry at VPC. This love started years ago when she helped Bonnie Grouge write the grant for the ESOL computer lab. And the love for the ministry has continued to grow as she works closely with the ESOL participants when providing childcare during ESOL programming over the past several years in her role as Childcare Coordinator. Elaine is excited to continue growing and forming these relationships. Elaine has been a VPC employee for the past 6 years, and a VPC member for 13 years.
Elaine is thrilled to begin this new adventure and looks forward to working alongside VPCís new ESOL Manager, Deb Rymer, and all the amazing volunteers in the ESOL program.
