Our cars run out of gas. The battery is dead. The car won’t go. Without regular maintenance, our cars are almost useless to us. This can be true for our faith. It can get so worn down by the pressures of life that we are living as if it were non-existent. These pressures drain our spiritual energy and make it hard to find the time or interest to grow closer to God…to learn how to live our lives as Jesus would live them if he were us. To be better disciples. We get stuck in a rut. We want to make progress on our discipleship journey, but just can’t find the motivation to get to the next level.
Just as our car batteries sometimes need an extra boost, so do our spiritual lives.
We invite you to jumpstart your spiritual journey with a weekend of powerful teaching. Dale Bruner will be joining us on Friday night, March 2 and Saturday, March 3 to help us see the Gospel of John with new eyes. Come find out how what we believe shapes how we act.
Dale Bruner is a captivating and engaging speaker known for how he makes sound Biblical scholarship practical and meaningful. He is such an excellent teacher, that the pastors and leadership have decided to fly him across the country to address our church. We only have him for a few brief hours and hope that you can find the time in your schedule to share those hours with us.

- Where: Vienna Presbyterian Church
- Cost: $30 per person
- Childcare: There will be a children’s program for children through age 12, with age appropriate stories, crafts and activities to help them learn about Jesus’ message in the Gospel of John. It will be a fun and interactive way for entire families to connect and grow together! The deadline for registering children is 5:00 pm, Mon, Feb 27.
