Course Description
Discover what our Lord is doing around the world -- and in your neighborhood. This course has helped people throughout the world find their niche in God's overall purpose to bless the nations.
Originating in 1974 from the U.S. Center for World Mission, a non-denominational ministry serving churches, campus ministries, and mission agencies world wide, Perspectives provides new insights and a better understanding of His ultimate purpose in the world through lessons in four sections:
- Biblical Foundation (new awareness as you read God’s Word)
- Historical Progress (key events and people used by God through history)
- Cultural Distinctions (how the Gospel is understood and received in different cultures)
- Strategic Involvement (how to use your skills and passions to glorify God – no matter your location or vocation)
Each week is unique, as different speakers bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to each class. Students can choose to participate on an Audit level, a Certificate level, or a Credit level.
