Our mission is to help children come to know and experience the Lord for themselves, to understand their value in God’s eyes, and to equip and empower them as they begin their life-long journey.
Our Children’s Ministries are built on six core values:
- Provide experiences that are child targeted and fun;
- Teach the Bible creatively, helping children apply it to daily life;
- Intentionally build relationships with God and with each other;
- Help children develop a heart for serving others;
- Ensure a safe environment (physically, emotionally and spiritually); and
- Support parents as spiritual leaders.
Our programs at VPC are designed to be developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child. Lessons, music and fellowship times are creative, age-appropriate and fun!
Our commitment to child safety is hugely important. We have established numerous measures to protect each child at VPC. Parents and children should feel confident of the safety and security of our staff and programs. For more detailed information, please see VPC’s Child Protection Policy.
Our teaching is solidly Bible-based using a wide variety of creative methods that capture children’s attention and appeal to their imagination. This approach enables God’s Word to come alive to our children.
Please help your children make the most of their Sunday experience by bringing them every week. This allows them to build strong and lasting relationships with teachers and other children, as well as providing a great spiritual foundation.
