Have you ever wondered how to discern what is best for your family with so much information available? Should you trust your intuition? Developing a mothering strategy is somewhat like playing a game. It involves having fun and taking risks. Just as in real-life, sometimes in games, unexpected, “chance” events occur, abruptly changing our paths. Sometimes we follow the instructions of “experts.” Sometimes we follow the advice of trusted friends. Teaming together with other moms is a great strategy. During the 2011-2012 MOPS year, we will have fun together as we explore MomSense and determine how to combine our mom intuition and common sense.
MOPS at VPC
MOPS, which stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, is an international organization designed to support every mom with children from infancy through kindergarten. We meet the first and third Thursday of each month from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Please contact Christina Jones at least one week prior to the meeting you would like to attend. Contact information is posted at the bottom of this webpage.
Childcare is provided with advanced reservation. The children will be engaged in their own MOPPETS curriculum during this time. There is no cost for the first meeting; afterwards there will be a fee to cover registration, childcare and other expenses.

Meetings
MOPS will normally meet the first and third Thursday of each month.
