For children 3rd-6th grade and their parents.
The Sacraments class provides parents and their children with instruction on baptism and communion, and is a great opportunity for parents to talk to their children about their readiness to participate in the sacraments. The class is a series of four sessions, offered once a year in early spring, culminating in the baptism of those wishing it and participation in many of the children’s first Communion with the congregation. These classes are for 3rd through 6th graders and their parents.
In 2015 the sessions will be held over the following four Sundays at 11:00 am:
TOPIC: God's Gift of Grace; separate class for children and parents
TOPIC: Signs and Symbols; combined class for children and parents
TOPIC: Baptism; separate class for children and parents
TOPIC: Communion/Meals & Sacrifices; combined class for children and parents
Celebration of The Lord’s Supper (with special recognition of the children)
Baptism will be offered for those children not yet baptized at several services in April.
