Volunteer Opportunities

HighPoint Teachers for the Fall: Did you know?

  • It takes a team of around 65 teachers, assistants and small group leaders each week to run Sunday classes for the children
  • Each week we have more than 350 children in need of caring adults
  • Teaching, assisting or leading a small group is hugely rewarding, and can bless the leader even more than the children
  • Teaching or leading a small group can be challenging, but totally worth the time and effort you put into it!

If you enjoy working with children, have some small group leader or teaching skills hiding away, or just want to share God's love, we have a class that needs your gifts.

For more information contact Daryl Wright at 703-938-9050 x126 or daryl.wright(at)viennapres.org, or Karen Covell at 703-938-9050 x125 or karen.covell(at)viennapres.org.

MAC Operation - If helping in the classroom isn't your thing, we could definitely use your help with our Mac instead.  If you're available once a month during the 9:30 service, your technical assistance running Power Point, DVDs, sound effects... would be much appreciated.  Training provided as necessary.  Please contact Daryl Wright at 703-938-9050 x126 or daryl.wright(at)viennapres.org, or Karen Covell at 703-938-9050 x125 or karen.covell(at)viennapres.org for more details.  Thanks!

Nursery Help - As our nursery grows we're always on the look out for loving adults and teens to help care for the children in our nursery on Sunday mornings.  What a great way to help out families in our church community!  Please contact Phyllis Swenson at 703-938-9050 x137 or sundaynursery@viennapres.org to offer your assistance.

MOPPETS Caregivers - Can you help with childcare once or twice a month on Thursday mornings?  Our new Mothers of Preschoolers group would love to be able to support more moms, which means more childcare for their little ones.  Please contact Elaine Wright at childcare@viennapres.org to help or with questions.
