2013 Pledge Campaign
Pledge Sunday - November 13, 2011
This is not a gimmick.
This number represents the 30% of our congregation
that participated in the experiment.
Truth is, we hold awesome potential to help, to heal, to teach, to feed, and to restore. We must each decide whether we will answer obediently God's request to be good stewards of his kingdom.
At the heart of Christian stewardship is the premise that everything in the world belongs to God. He entrusts us with gifts, and our job is to manage those gifts the best we can.
That doesn't mean that we'll all make the same choices about how to spend our time, money, gifts and talents. It does mean that we all do our best with what we're given.
Giving is a way to participate in the work of Christ and experience the joy of sharing ourselves, our talents and our resources with others.
Celebrate God's goodness to you.
And commit to give some of it back to his work in the world.
