VPC is fortunate to have many talented musicians within the church community. These bands, ensembles, and soloists are an integral part of our church life, and perform periodically during Sunday worship services and other activities within the church.
Work in Progress Band

Work in Progress is a contemporary Christian band sponsored by Vienna Presbyterian Church. The mission of the band is to share the truth about Jesus through music and song. Work in Progress leads music in worship on the fifth Sunday of the month as part of a “blended” worship format. Occasionally they step out of the church and take their music into the community. In the past Work in Progress has played for the CROP Walk, the Town of Vienna Holiday Stroll, the Vienna Baptist Coffee House, and the Great Banquet retreats. They have also lead worship at other churches -— even at an old fashioned tent revival.

Paula and Glenn Lohrmann
Paula and Glenn Lohrmann frequently add wonderful spiritual harmony to the Sunday morning worship services. They have a unique style with voices that blend together to make every spiritual presentation one not to be forgotten. With Glenn playing the keyboard, their three children frequently join them for a true family affair.
Vocal Ensembles
Small vocal ensembles sing a capella music during worship services and for special occasions. Members are chosen by audition. Rehearsals are held as needed. For more information, call Lance Vining at 703-938-9050, x132.
