Short-Term Missions Projects (STMP)
VPC encourages the development of short-term missions trips and projects at any time throughout the year. Several trips are being considered at this time.

A special trip for Teachers/Educators. Education can be the ticket out of poverty for many children and their families. The conditions in Haiti are abysmal, and we have seen a definite need for teacher training – everything from classroom management to basic teaching techniques! And there are opportunities to help without traveling to Haiti (utilizing educational expertise, contacts for supplies, etc.). We look forward to the exciting possibilities of working with the educators of Haiti!
At New Hope Bulgaria we look for ways to empower and encourage the local church to serve the needs of their children, teenagers and youth, and walk with them in the process of discipleship. Summer camps has proven to be one of the very effective ways of helping youth come to a place where they can spend time in an environment that focuses their minds and hearts on building friendships and studying God's Word.
After the Soviet Union, Ukraine inherited spiritual decline. AIDS, drugs, alcoholism, abortions and early pregnancies are huge problems. Parents are not taking care of their children and leave them at the orphanages. Seven years ago the Orphan Care program was started, to give children and youth in orphanages the opportunity to be part of a Christ-centered family and local church, to respond to Christ’s call to follow Him, and to learn social, relational and academic skills to reach God’s potential for their lives.
