The volunteer opportunities listed in this section have a designated coordinator within the VPC community. If you don't see an area of interest to you in this list, please visit our local supported missions; you may prefer to serve directly with one of these organizations.
VPC connects with a variety of organizations in Northern Virginia and greater Washington, DC area that provide food for those in need. Volunteers are needed to cook, deliver, serve food, as well as a variety of other opportunities to serve.
If carpentry or home repairs is your skill, VPC can connect you to numerous organizations in our area. Also volunteers are needed to help the homeless.
If you are looking to serve the sick, elderly or disabled, VPC can match you with a volunteer opportunity to meet your skill. Volunteers are needed in a variety of ways.
Christian Education is a powerful way to bring children to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. If you are looking for an outreach that uses Christian Education, this is for you.
Knitters are need for Knit, Perl, Love... a Christian ministry that knits for orphans. Scarves will go to orphans in Ukraine through New Hope International; Teddy Bears will to orphans in Haiti thru Community Coalition for Haiti.
