TAG TCI and Assessment Reports
VPC contracted with TAG Consulting of Fairfax to assess our congregation in preparation for a leadership development process. The TCI Report gives the results of the congregational survey that was taken in August 2011, while the Assessment Report offers VPC a comprehensive assessment of our current condition as perceived by our community. Gifts from the Heart, December 2011
Gifts from the Heart was a way for the VPC community to help people in our own backyard that were hungry, homeless, and/or unemployed. There was endless need for food, clothing, gifts for Christmas and more. VPC stepped up to the challenge and contributed in many ways. Over 180 families participated in the 2011 effort. In many cases, several members of the family made separate donations. They gave:
- Over $4,000 in grocery gift cards
- Approximately $5,000 in infant formula and diapers
- Toys for over 70 children
- Over 80 donations of new coats, winter clothing, and shoes.
Knit, Purl, Love -- A Knitting Ministry
"Five Delta ladies with diverse backgrounds would probably never have crossed paths had they not been brought together by a common hobby and a common desire to serve the Lord by serving His children."
