New Member Seminars

VPC is a large church with many diverse activities.  To help you find a place here at VPC we offer several New Member Seminars during the year.  The seminars provide information about membership at VPC and an opportunity for you to explore areas of Interest to you.

In the seminar participants will:

  • Learn what it means to be a Christian/Presbyterian
  • Learn what it means to be a Disciple
  • Learn about VPC: how we worship, opportunities for spiritual growth, and opportunities for service
  • Meet pastors and church leaders
  • Meet others who are joining the church
  • Reflect on your spiritual journey
  • Identify your spiritual gifts and learn how to use them

Next New Member Seminar

The New Member Seminars are held on several occasions throughout the year.  Watch the Sunday Bulletin or read announcements from the Bulletin posted on this website for upcoming dates.  To find out more information, such as scheduled dates, or to register for a seminar, please call Linda Kemple at the church office, 703-938-9050 x100, or email her at linda.kemple@viennapres.org.  Linda can answer most questions you might have. 

Childcare for ages 6 and under is available if requested at least 48 hours in advance, by calling 703-938-9050 x351.  Always make your reservation as soon as you can.
