Vacation Bible School (2011)
Last week, over 270 children from ages four to nine flooded the church to celebrate God’s love. This year’s theme was “PandaMania” and included a stage colorfully decorated with real bamboo and paper lanterns. The kids participated in fun activities including drama, craft, music, snack and recreation each day.
Seeing the children laugh at the skits, sing and dance to praise songs and ask questions during “Huddle Time” was an incredible thing to watch. Vacation Bible School was a great reminder that God is “watching over you—24-7, He’s watching over you!” (to quote one of the many profound, catchy songs from the week!)
