Bethany Women's Center, a shelter for the homeless which regularly needs our food support. Easy-to-prepare recipes and sign-up sheet are available just outside the kitchen door. Please sign up to continue this wonderful support. Call Cindy Alls, 703.222.3657

Lions Club: Look through drawers and closets for old, unwanted eyeglasses to donate to the Lions Recycle for Sight program. We will be collecting used prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses as part of a unique recycling program. The glasses will be distributed to those in need in developing countries where eye care is often unaffordable and inaccessible. Drop off your glasses in the basket located in the narthex.

This is a Vienna home based shelter for abused and homeless children. Feeding these children and staff is one way we can help support their ministry. Would you cook meals to be delivered to the Alternative House? Please sign up at the kitchen or call Cindy Alls at 703. 222.3657.

Volunteers needed for this year’s outreach activities on the Chapel steps during the Viva Vienna celebration on Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day Weekend whichattracts thousands of residents from the community. The outreach activity will be Sunday, May 27, from 11am-2pm and Monday, May 28, from 11am-3pm. We will provide refreshments, balloon making for kids, and chapel tours.

Scarves will go to orphans in Ukraine through New Hope International. Teddy Bears will go to orphans in Haiti through Community Coalition for Haiti. Every hand-knitted (or crocheted) gift will be personalized with the knitters name and a Bible verse.
