Join Us This Ash Wednesday – A Time for Renewal and Reflection
As Lent begins, take time to pause, reflect, and seek renewal by joining us for Ash Wednesday on February 18. We are offering a drive-thru ashes and prayer in the larger (Park St) VPC parking lot between 8:00 – 8:30 am or Noon – 1:00 pm. We will have an evening worship service at 7:00 pm. Whether you attend in person or join us online, this service offers a meaningful opportunity to draw closer to Jesus as we begin the journey toward Easter.
What is Ash Wednesday?
Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, a 40-day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving leading up to Easter. During the service, we receive ashes on our foreheads as a symbol of our mortality and a reminder to turn our hearts toward God.
