What We Believe About Confirmation
All 8th graders and above are invited to participate in Confirmation. Confirmation classes are offered once every school year. Classes will begin in early 2026, if you have any questions, please contact Vicki Sumner.
Vienna Presbyterian holds confirmation classes for youth to confirm their beliefs, provide them with a deeper understanding of their faith, Presbyterian beliefs, and the significance of joining the church. These classes cover topics such as theology, church history, and the responsibilities of membership, helping young people make an informed and personal commitment to their faith and the VPC community. These classes serve as a rite of passage, a chance to build community, and to affirm a young person’s faith and their readiness to become full members of the congregation.
