Christ & Culture

Engage in ethical questions and hear from VPC mission partners in real time as this community learns how to put faith in action. Consider this a welcoming place to address tough questions, a respectful place to share perspectives, and an enlightening place where the hope of Christ prevails.

Apprentices

SHAPE

Discover Your SHAPE to Serve
Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, Experience – SHAPE is an acronym from Rick Warren’s bestseller, The Purpose Driven Life. It is an excellent guide for examining how God has uniquely gifted and guided you for service in the Body of Christ. Take the SHAPE assessment anytime at www.viennapres.org/SHAPE.

Lectio Divina and Examen

Lectio Divina is an ancient spiritual practice for engaging with the word of God for transformation instead of information. Try Lectio Divina Method with a scripture passage today. Examen is another way to engage scripture with God. See more at: www.ignatianspirituality.com/ or Adele Calhoun’s Spiritual Disciplines Handbook.
