“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace… “   -1 Peter 4:10

Find your SHAPE

God created us to serve others and gives us a unique SHAPE to do His work. Even amidst coronavirus stay at home orders, God can use your SHAPE to be a light for Christ to other people. The assessments will help you discover your SHAPE and consider how you can join us in our mission of Becoming like Christ together for the World.

Current Needs

Bags of Love

VPC became a CARES Act partner by signing agreements with Food for Others and Capital Area Food Bank.  We’ve also asked the congregation to provide 150 – 200 substantial bags of groceries for satellite sites where we’ve discovered great need. Please join this effort by signing up to supply groceries, unload and package the CARES Act food, or help with the distributions.

Audio Visual Tech Ministry

Are you comfortable with technology and computers, interested in learning about live production, have knowledge of cameras or video editing or are interested in music and mixing? No experience required, just a willingness to learn! We have a pretty good time on the tech side of things at VPC!

Volunteer with ESOL

Volunteer with ESOL!

VPC’s adult “English for Speakers of Other Languages” program needs English teachers and assistant teachers. Volunteers are needed to connect with students for 2 hours, one morning or evening per week for the 2021/22 school year. No teaching experience is required. Training is available. For more information, please contact Deb Rymer at Deb.Rymer@viennapres.org.
