Contemporary Worship Director

Do you have a passion for Jesus, a heart for people, and a gift for leading worship through contemporary music? Vienna Presbyterian Church is seeking a Contemporary Worship Director to lead and grow our contemporary worship ministry with creativity, excellence, and authentic joy.

Working closely with the Associate Pastor for Worship, the Contemporary Worship Director will oversee the planning, preparation, and execution of contemporary worship music for weekly services and special programs throughout the church year. This role will provide both musical and spiritual leadership to worship band members and vocalists, while cultivating an environment of excellence, collaboration, growth, and genuine worship.

The Contemporary Worship Director will play a key role in developing and mentoring musicians of all ages, also including VPC’s youth worship ministry; identifying and incorporating new worship music consistent with VPC’s theology and worship vision; coordinating volunteers and professional musicians; and overseeing the resources, equipment, scheduling, and budget associated with the contemporary music ministry.

  • A gifted leader who can develop and encourage both professional and volunteer musicians.
  • Passionate about mentoring emerging and youth worship leaders.
  • Comfortable balancing long-range ministry planning with the practical demands of weekly worship.
  • Proficient in Planning Center and experienced in managing music resources, scheduling, budgets, and equipment.
  • Committed to pursuing continued musical, professional, and spiritual development.

A bachelor’s degree is preferred.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced contemporary worship leader and musician who can inspire musicians, cultivate a strong sense of team and spiritual community, and help the congregation connect what we sing with why we sing it.

Position Details:

  • Regular, Part-time (30 hrs/week), non-exempt
  • $38-45/hour depending on qualifications
  • Benefits eligible
  • Hours typically include Sundays from 6:30am-10:30am; 3:30pm-7:00pm. Will also include occasional evenings and Saturdays as needed for rehearsals and special worship services. Remaining hours can be flexible.

Assistant Facilities Manager

Vienna Presbyterian Church is seeking a skilled, dependable, and mission-minded Assistant Facilities Manager to help steward and maintain our church in support of ministry. Working alongside the Facilities Manager, this hands-on leadership role oversees the maintenance, operation, and enhancement of our buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems while helping supervise custodial staff and vendors.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in building maintenance and HVAC systems, excellent troubleshooting and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for our congregation and community. This position also assists with long-range facilities planning, budgeting, vendor oversight, and daily operational inspections to ensure our church remains in excellent condition.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has at least five years of building maintenance experience, including a minimum of two years of HVAC maintenance experience.
  • Can read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals and confidently operate and troubleshoot building systems.
  • Has supervisory experience (preferred) and enjoys leading and supporting others.
  • Communicates effectively in both English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Is organized, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities with professionalism.

Childcare Provider

Join our team as a Childcare Provider! Caregivers support various VPC programs. Each child, birth through 5-years old is assigned in an age appropriate classroom where they engage in play, arts and crafts, and lesson centered on Jesus Christ.

Position Details:

  • 18 years or older
  • Part-time (Needed shifts: two Thursdays from 9:00-11:45am)
  • $20/hr
  • Must agree to a Criminal Background Check
  • Must complete VPC’s mandatory Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
  • CPR Training is required (provided by VPC)
