Missions Manager (40 hours/week)

Are you passionate about mobilizing others to serve and making a meaningful impact both locally and globally? We are seeking a dynamic, faith-driven leader to serve as our Missions Ministry Manager—a key role dedicated to advancing our mission partnerships and inspiring our congregation to live out their faith through service. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with church leadership to bring our Missions Ministry vision to life. You’ll lead the planning and execution of mission trips, coordinate church-wide outreach initiatives, and cultivate partnerships with local, national, and international organizations. From recruiting and equipping volunteers to managing budgets and communications, you’ll help create opportunities for our community to engage deeply in God’s work.

We’re looking for a highly organized, relational leader who thrives in both strategy and execution—someone who can energize teams, manage multiple projects, and communicate with clarity and purpose. The ideal candidate brings ministry or nonprofit experience, a heart for missions, and a strong, authentic Christian faith.

This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to shape lives, build lasting partnerships, and help a vibrant church community serve with purpose and impact.

  • Position is full-time, exempt, generally Monday-Thursday with evenings and weekends as needed for meetings and events. Salary is $63,000/yr.

Join our Preschool Staff for the 2026-27 school year!

We are seeking warm, nurturing, and faith-filled Preschool Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers to join our Preschool staff. These roles are ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to creating a loving, Christ-centered environment where young children can grow spiritually, socially, and academically. In these roles, you will lead age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning, while gently introducing biblical principles through stories, songs, and daily interactions. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and enthusiastic, with a heart for guiding children in their earliest experiences of faith and community. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and engaging classroom, communicating effectively with parents and staff, and supporting the mission and values of VPC. Previous experience in early childhood education is preferred.

Position Details:

  • Part-time during the academic year (16-18 hours per week)
  • $20/hr for Assistant Teacher; $23/hr for Lead Teacher
  • Must agree to a Criminal Background Check
  • Must complete VPC’s mandatory Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
  • CPR Training is required (provided by VPC)

Childcare Provider

Join our team as a Childcare Provider! Caregivers support various VPC programs. Each child, birth through 5-years old is assigned in an age appropriate classroom where they engage in play, arts and crafts, and lesson centered on Jesus Christ.

Position Details:

  • 18 years or older
  • Part-time (Needed shifts: two Thursdays from 9:00-11:45am)
  • $20/hr
  • Must agree to a Criminal Background Check
  • Must complete VPC’s mandatory Sexual Abuse Prevention Training
  • CPR Training is required (provided by VPC)
