Amy brings a heart for children and a passion for sharing her love of Christ with young children to her role as Manager of Early Childhood Ministry here at VPC. She met her husband here in the church and now they are raising two more children in this church. A member of VPC, she has served in many areas over the years, including Children’s ministries, Missions, MomCo, and Music ministries. She holds a degree from The College of Wooster, where she studied music performance, and elementary education. After teaching all ages from preschool through 10th grade, teaching in private and public schools for more than 25 years, Amy felt called to serve together with the families of young children in this church.
Outside of church, Amy loves to do all kinds of arts, is a Girl Scout Troop leader with her daughter, and plays the flute and regularly performs in an orchestra.
