Kate and her husband Chris joined VPC shortly after moving to Vienna 16 years ago.  She helped in the preschool wing the first Sunday they attended in the summer of 2007. Their two daughters, Sarah and Abby, grew up participating in the many children’s, youth, and music ministries at VPC.  Over the years, Kate has served as a Sunday school teacher for pre-school through Middle school students, volunteered at VBS, been a member of numerous committees, and more recently had the privilege of being an ESOL teacher.  She has also spent many wonderful years in a Growing Your Soul group with Pastor Connie.  Kate enjoys walking their dog Sybil, practicing yoga, spending time with family, and cheering for Duke Basketball.
