Melanie Nunez

Operations and HR Manager

Rooted in a deep love for Jesus and a calling to serve others, Melanie brings both heart and over a decade of HR experience to VPC. Melanie has been on staff since 2020, and prior to then she offered her time and talents by volunteering for NextGen with VBS, MomsNext, MOPS, and on Sunday mornings. She moved to the Operations team in 2022, and loves helping and connecting with people across the church, from children’s groups, to adult groups, to community events.

Originally from Minnesota, Melanie moved to Virginia with her family in 2014 and quickly found VPC a church to call home. She carries with her Midwestern warmth and a commitment to integrity in everything she does. Outside of work, she finds joy in spending quality time with her family, exploring new places through travel, and unwinding with a good book. Her faith continues to shape not only her personal life but also how she leads and support others professionally—with compassion, wisdom, and purpose.
