In October 2023 and March 2024, the creators of the CASKET EMPTY Bible study series are hosting conferences at VPC! Following these discipleship weekends, we will launch small group studies for you to continue this life-changing experience of understanding the Bible as one redemptive story with Jesus at the Center. The word CASKET EMPTY® is an acronym for the entire Bible, with each letter representing a key period in the redemptive story. (Note that you do not have to attend the conference to participate with a small group.)

These small group Bible studies will happen in four parts. (See the schedule below for general dates for each of the four series.) In the Old Testament series, you will learn the storyline of the Old Testament from Genesis to Malachi through the acronym CASKET. The New Testament series in the spring will focus on the storyline of the Gospel of Matthew to Revelation through the acronym EMPTY. Get ready to experience a life-changing understanding of scripture, as you come to see the Bible as one redemptive story with Jesus at the center!

Old Testament groups have begun, and you can still be a part of them. New Testament groups will begin in March 2024 after the New Testament conference. • Begins late October following the OT conference on October 13-14

Series 2: Old Testament, Kings-Exile-Temple

Series 3: New Testament, Expectation-Messiah-Pentecost

• Begins the week of March 10th following the NT conference on March 8-9
