In October 2023 and March 2024, the creators of the CASKET EMPTY Bible study series hosted conferences at VPC. Following these discipleship weekends, small group studies are open for all who are interested in better understanding the Bible as one redemptive story with Jesus at the Center. Attendance at the Casket Empty conference is not required to participate with a Casket Empty small group study.

The word CASKET EMPTY® is an acronym for the entire Bible, with each letter representing a key period in the redemptive story:

• Creation-Abraham-Sinai-Kings-Exile-Temple
• Expectation-Messiah-Pentecost-Teachings and Yet-to-Come

The New Testament Bible study series will focus on the storyline of the Gospel of Matthew to Revelation over fourteen weeks, revealing its connection to the Old Testament scriptures.

Two New Testament groups will begin in March and April 2024:

• Co-Ed online group with small group break out discussion, bi-weekly on Thursdays from 7:30-8:30 PM, March 21 – June 13
• Women’s small group meeting at VPC, weekly on Mondays from 7:00-8:30 PM, April 15 – July 29
