An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Monday, repeating until May 20, 2024
At the Women’s Bible Study, you’ll find a supportive and encouraging group of women of all ages ready to get to know you as they get to know the Bible. The group begins with a large group teaching, then splits into smaller groups – life groups – for discussion and prayer. In your life group, you will learn to live your faith as you share about and care for each other’s life experiences.
Spring Series: She is Called–Vocation and the Women of the Bible
In Biblical terms, vocation is a calling upon what we do and who we are. When we accept God’s call to be His children, we are also called to consider God’s holy purpose in the occupations we have at work, at home, and in our community.
The Bible is filled with inspiring stories of women who, with faith, used their time, talents, and treasure for God’s purposes. Women who were messengers, mothers, business managers, church leaders, and Jesus’ core disciples followed their call as God’s children to participate in His work here on earth. Through a deeper look at Scripture and the context of these women’s stories, we will see that God can turn the activities of our everyday lives into a holy vocation that matters.
