Hymns of Our Faith Small Group

Profound stories of faith inspired the lyrics and music of many hymns. Have you ever wondered about the origin stories of our hymns? Do these faith-poems intrigue you? Have you considered how music helps us worship Christ as Lord of our lives? Come grow in your understanding of these topics with this seven-week hymn study led by Bill Carter. As an Elder and long-time choir member, Bill loves to worship the Lord and has a deep appreciation for how faith poetry set to music (in all its forms) can draw us closer to God. The group will listen to and sometimes sing the hymns they study, flexing between traditional and contemporary arrangements. Each lesson will stand alone, so come as you can to the group and get ready to be inspired by faith music!
