Exodus 32:1-24When we read the passage in Exodus or hear missionary stories from around the world, we may feel good about ourselves because we don’t worship a golden calf or other representations of gods. But as Dwight Moody said, “You don’t have to go to heathen lands today to find false gods. America is full of them. Whatever you love more than God is your idol.” We are all guilty of committing idolatry and experiencing the consequences. So where is the hope? How can we overcome idolatry?
